In case you’ve been hiding under rock, you would know that there was a lot of hoopla these past few weeks surrounding Jenna Talackova and the Canadian Miss Universe Pageant.  First she was denied participation and then, after much backlash (yay for democracy) she was allowed to compete.  What was the big deal?  She’s a transexual (a pretty damn good looking one at that!)  And there was a big debate as to whether the Canadian Miss Universe committee could accept her as a woman.  Well, it all worked out in the end.  Hopefully this will serve as a sign to the the greater universe outside that of beauty that we should all accept one another.
